Now employee wise everyone whose helped me with my phone has been very nice and helpful. Genius bar times related to fixing software and hardware times can vary based on each case, if you arrived on time, or were a walk in. From now on, I will be coming to this Apple Store just for the friendly service alone. Steve Jobs would be so disgusted with what they have done to their products. This is for Genius Bar, my laptop wouldn't turn on but I got seen in under 30 mins probably just lucky on the timing too and the person helping me, Nick, was super fast and helpful. I felt invited and actually enjoyed learning a few things from the knowledgable staff. No one came up to greet us or ask what we needed.
That rep assured us we would be seen right away. If you want to learn how to use your products, Apple has other in-store options. I was eighteen days over warranty, but because I had been in previously for the same issue and because the staff was so wonderful, they honored the warranty and repaired my computer at no cost to me. Unfortunately, not the case today. Our Specialists will take the time to answer your questions and set up your new Apple product just the way you want it.
Don't get me started on the other issues with this once great store. They kept me waiting well past my appointment time. He got my phone in order straight-away and just so pleasant. I've been around and around the Apple site, the store site, etc. Mainly this is if you need any apple support on a device. The Apple support sent me here on Easter said they would be open Door had no sign.
Initially I was linked with Sarah who was very friendly and helpful. Had they pressured me, I would've walked out. Four stars for making me wait 40 minutes to get a text nad 50 min waiting at the Genius Bar! Not the answer I wanted to hear, but there wasn't any more I could do. Each day there was a long line of customers waiting to get inside. Currently I am typing this on my Mac Pro and own 2 MacBook Pros. She gave me some time to look things over and within that time she was recruited for another project. I walked into the store after driving around unsuccessfully to a couple of other stores.
This has been consistent with each and every one of my much dreaded visits. We will definitely sign up for future camps! Really glad I spent several hundred dollars on this watch. Another 20 minutes and I asked to speak to a manager. This was only about 5-10 minutes, but as you can imagine, quite obnoxious as a pickup and payment typically doesn't take that long for other products and services at other retailers. Even though we ran into some hiccups along the way, not his fault by any means he was patient and he filled the time well with hilarious stories and life with his new iPhone that he showed me about in crystal clear photos and awesome videos! I asked a few associates if I could purchase this screw. I am very tempted to switch my Samsung to Apple. Why exactly did I make an appointment? That is an entire week from now.
I came in as soon as the store opened and they got me in at the service area right away. I went into Apple to fix what i thought was to be a hardware issue, however a I was told that my phone had to be sent away for 2 weeks to be fixed, but was not told what was wrong with it. Luckily I had purchased AppleCare on my device and they told me they were able to fix it within 2 hours in store and that it would only set me back about 30 bucks! Upon picking up, I am instructed to have a seat and wait for my phone. They proceeded to look over my phone. The Genius Bar is where users who are having trouble with their , , , or other Apple products can get one-on-one tech support from a trained specialist.
When I got home I contacted Apple Care and that rep was kind enough to offer an appointment at the Apple Store so I could get my replacement. Questions and features were explained with grace and ease, never petulant tone to a question. Whilst browsing through reviews previous to writing mine, there's some of you-whom I personally remember-who wrote reviews painting yourselves out more blameless than you actually were. After wasting an hour at my prior appointment, I of course wondered how bad I really need a new phone battery. If you absolutely have to shop or get repairs at this store, bring noise cancelling headphones, and a flask as you will have no indication of your wait time so you must stay in your assigned seat area and wait. . After spending two hours there, my friend got a new phone and I did not get anything.
These employees are picked based on their reactions, I can tell. Can't understand how anyone could not give this store five stars based on my experience today. Also such as with my issue with a purchased iPhone 6s plus, they couldn't really help me, I'll have to wait til June-the end of the 90 days- and then be able to download previous purchases. Recently my daughter attended Apple camp. Live without a phone at least. The kids were constantly praised for their efforts. However these employees wouldn't because they have tact.
It's not my problem, but at least I can get in the door. Another star, for a flawless looking store front. I know it's not esthetically pleasing to put up a paper sign, but it sure would help the 15 customers waiting outside. This is an obvious plan to make sure you don't get to the genius bar at all. And after more waiting, get your credit card ready! There doesn't seem to be anyway around this step.
